Glock 19 Gen 6 Austria

Description

Glock 19 Gen 6 in Pakistan – Compact Optic-Ready 9mm | Haider Arms

The Glock 19 Gen 6 brings the same ergonomic and optics overhaul from the G17 Gen 6 down to Glock’s compact platform — a palm-swell grip, flat-faced trigger, and factory Optic Ready System, in the size that made the G19 the world’s most carried compact 9mm. Available in Pakistan through Haider Arms, GT Road, Peshawar.

The Glock 19 has been the benchmark compact 9mm for concealed carry and duty use since 1988, and the Gen 6 update carries the same ergonomic and optics redesign introduced on the G17 down into that compact frame. This is a refinement of a proven platform, not a reinvention — Glock kept the mechanics that made the G19 dominant and focused the changes on how it’s held and how optics mount.

The frame now has a molded palm swell and an extended, textured thumb rest on the dust cover, paired with the new RTF6 dual-texture grip pattern for a more secure hold in all conditions. The trigger guard is undercut so the support hand can sit higher, and slide serrations are cut deeper for faster, more confident manipulation under stress.

Optics mounting moves to Glock’s new Optic Ready System — red dots mount closer to the bore axis than the old MOS plates allowed, for a lower, more natural sight picture. It ships standard with a flat-faced trigger for a more consistent break, while keeping the same Safe Action System and three passive safeties as every other Glock.

Capacity and footprint stay exactly what G19 owners expect: 15+1 rounds standard, and it still runs Gen 3/4/5 magazines.

Comparison — Gen 6 vs Gen 5

The internals and dimensions haven’t changed: barrel length, overall size, and trigger pull weight are identical between Gen 5 and Gen 6. What’s different is entirely in the grip and optics mount — a flat-faced trigger instead of curved, a palm-swell grip with a textured thumb rest replacing the plain frame, and a direct-mount Optic Ready System replacing MOS adapter plates. If you already carry a Gen 5 G19, this isn’t a different gun to relearn — it’s the same platform shaped around the ergonomics shooters asked for.

Final Verdict: If concealability and proven reliability matter most, the G19 Gen 6 keeps everything that made the compact Glock the standard-issue choice worldwide, while fixing the grip and optics complaints that followed it through five generations.
